Frequently Asked Questions

How long does gel polish last?

Our gel polish lasts up to 3 weeks with proper application and aftercare. Always apply a base coat first and finish with our Extra Shiny Top Coat for maximum longevity.

Do I need a UV or LED lamp?

Yes gel polish requires curing under a UV or LED lamp. Our formula is compatible with both UV and LED lamps. We recommend curing each coat for 60 seconds under LED or 2 minutes under UV.

Is your gel polish soak-off?

Yes  all our gel polishes are soak-off formulas. Simply soak a cotton pad in acetone, place on the nail, wrap in foil and leave for 10-15 minutes.

Do I need a base coat?

Yes always apply a base coat before your colour. This protects your natural nail and helps your gel polish adhere properly for a longer lasting result.

What is The Glow Fund CIC?

The Glow Fund CIC is our community interest company. Every order placed at The Beauty Supply directly funds training, mentorship and opportunities for young people and underrepresented communities in the beauty industry.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery takes 1-3 working days via Royal Mail. Next day delivery is available if you order before 4pm. Free standard shipping on all orders over £35.

What is your returns policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unopened, unused products in their original packaging. Please contact us at info@thebeautysupplyuk.com to arrange your return.

Can I track my order?

Yes all standard orders come with a Royal Mail tracking number sent to your email once your order is dispatched.
